Long shadows, clouds gathering

I’ve been beavering away in spite of the gap since last posting here.

One of my daily paintings, ‘Side-lit Norfolk Pines’ has been dispatched to a new home, where I hope it will be very happy.  Check the website for the availability of the others http://sarahjenningsartist.com/gallery_707298.html

I’ve also enjoyed a great workshop tutored by Roger Dellar ROI RI VPPS http://www.rogerdellar.com at Old Bank Studios http://www.oldbankstudios.co.uk/  painting cafe/street scenes  and, inspired by Roger, have been experimenting again with water-mixable oils.

Look out for some cafe/coffee shop scenes in the future but in the meantime here’s a small study of …another tree.  At least it’s in oil for a change! I spotted this a couple of weeks ago when the sunlight was fantastic.  Rain soon followed. I wonder how many leaves are left on that tree this week.  Must check.
